Car: 2008 mk2, 2.0TFSI.

I noticed a coolant leak on the right side of the engine and upon inspection came to the conclusion that it was the coolant hose flange. I am new at working on cars and saw how difficult it is to change this flange due to its position and how cramped the space is.

Could someone please confirm my suspicion of this part being the culprit and if so do you guys have any tips which would make it easier to reach and change this part?
