Hello everyone

I currently have two short swords and a dagger. The Ranger sword (and a full scabbard) and the dagger my character uses, and the other I use for monstering (it was very cheap to purchase from Mythalon). The dagger remains in its sheath when not larping.

Since I love swords, mainly short to long, I am going to purchase two more in several months time - both from the Epic Armoury stronghold line: the arming sword in gold and the scout sword. The LARP I attend does permit the Stronghold weapons as it is soft touch (pull back blows).

Both A Nemesis and Cali swords would be expensive to import as I live in the UK.

My question is should I purchase a sword bag? I have read somewhere that foam weapons prefer the dark. I keep my swords flat, but I was thinking of putting them on the wall using sword holders but I don’t want to damage them.

I am thinking of getting a spear in the future because of the longer reach. I find 2 handed swords unwieldy.

How do you all store your weapons when you are not larping? And how many do you have?

Hello everyone

I am in the process of purchasing trinkets to help flesh out my character. I will be using some beads and feathers, (not too many though) a brooch, and several decorative stones in a pouch - they used to be in her home, so they remind her of her family and home when she is adventuring. A few of them are in the shape of mushrooms, just because I like them, and she is half elven.

What do you all use to flesh out your characters? Any quirks or oddities? Rituals or special items, such as a lucky coin (or using a yes/no coin for making decisions).
