I’m thinking of getting a watch for daily wear that’s comfortable and durable.

I’ll begin graduate studies soon and want something reliable for doing lab work and going outside. I like the Hamilton Khaki Field a lot but it’s not something I should spend the money on right now.

The Casio GW-M5610 is a great contender, solar and tough and it’s a classic, but I feel it’s very sporty and maybe sweat will be uncomfortable with the resin band.

The Timex Expedition is another affordable choice and looks nice, it also feels sturdy enough.

The Seiko looks amazing, and I like the nylon strap option for comfort.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
I wouldn’t want a watch that feels heavy or bulky, the Casio being an exception.
