I replaced the battery in my Unihertz Jelly Star (full video tutorial)
Hi everyone!
I’ve been using my Unihertz Jelly Star as my main phone for more than 2 years and the original battery was starting to get weak, so I decided to replace it myself.
I made a full video tutorial showing:
- screen removal,
- motherboard removal,
- battery replacement,
- mistakes to avoid,
- and unfortunately… how I slightly damaged the rear LEDs 😅

The filming and editing are terrible, my English accent is even worse, but maybe this can help other Jelly Star users keep their phone alive a bit longer!
Good news:
- the replacement battery was an original Jelly 2 battery from Unihertz,
- everything works normally afterward,
- including the fingerprint reader,
- and I got my normal battery life back.
Feel free to ask questions if you want more details!
