First post in this spacific sub but i kinda want some advice?

I got alot of ideas for one of my yumeships (gyjo x my oc river) and i really want to write it.

But biggest thing is, I'm extremely scared of messing them up. Johnny for instance is disabled and I'm terrified of writing his disability wrong even with all of my research into it and I'm just scared of messing up his and Gyro's personality

Does anyone have any tips about how to get past that anxiety?

I also wanna post what i write but I'm scared of being judged if i mess up or change canon stuff just so the story can flow better.

(Gyro + johnny are from jjba, donno my sharing status yet tbh....)
