Fun fact about piloting Rift Herald in spider form...

There's not enough room in Rift Herald for Elise's spiderlings, so they just keep on attacking enemies if they're in range to do so when you are piloting Rift Herald in spider form. They killed this Mel after I ran her ass over! :P

What are the most iconic matchups in League of Legends history?

Whether it's because the lore has set them up as such, or because they have a tradition in professional play as being great skill matchups, what are the most iconic matchups in LoL history? I'll name a few to get the thread started...

Caitlyn vs. Jinx: long range ADC matchup with roots in both lore and gameplay.

Darius vs. Garen: manly men fighting it out in the toplane for kin and country

Rengar vs. Kha'Zix: jungle battle of the AD stealth gankers

Lee Sin vs. Elise: a classic high-skill jungle matchup with roots in pro play

What I don't really know about are the midlane matchups that are considered classic/iconic. Also, support... are there even any? Maybe Thresh vs. Blitz, battle of the hooks? I feel like there have to be some iconic matchups based on theme as well: like poke vs. engage champs who lane against one another?

Edit: Oooh, I thought of a midlane matchup...

Zed vs. Talon: battle of the AD assassins
