Experience with International Flights going through Helsinki
Hello!
Just a quick question for anyone who may have done a similar flight through Helsinki. I have a friend flying from the Czech Republic to the states, and they have a layover in Helsinki. Their layover time from landing to take off is about 50 minutes and we are worried that it wont be enough time or that they will run into other issues. We have both had some unpleasant layover experiences at other airports for international flights (Gates closing 45+ minutes early, late landings etc.) in that past, and are trying to prep whatever way we can.
What has your experience been with international layovers at Helsinki? Things like ease of travel between gates/terminals, how long before flights have you noticed gates closing, passport checks and the like. Any tips/recommendations for making it through easier?
