Thinking of picking this bar cart up, just unsure what would look best to finish it.

It has some pretty detailed hand carved patterns and seems like a bit of a beast to fully prep and refinish. Therefore I’d like to have a decent plan before I start.

It’s a solid hardwood, missing one of the vertical top railing pieces. Could attempt match and make a new one but I’d like to avoid that if possible.

Any ideas or thoughts are much appreciated. Let me know if it’d be worth the effort to you or if you’d pass on it.
