Bridge was floating so decided to give a try with an utility knife, what is the best way to polish this? It's satin finish. Also I hope steam and hot iron would work for some bruises. Thanks, let me know how you fix things after a rough bridge removal :) I won't do it again without proper tools.

Planing to restore this but not sure if this is a wood crack. Guy said it's paint only. Also fret slots are filled and there is a bind so I cant just saw it through, hit or pass? Guy asking 80usd for reference. I am planing to fully restore and sell it, I have capable luthier skills but this will be somewhat big for me.
