The cheery knight Rebecca(@A.nbyii)
Reposted cuz the og upload was missing the cape and some layers. Anyhow this is the result of a commission I gave to my friend. Definitely go check her out through the insta handle in the title as she’s a fantastic artist.
WIP artwork of my goat
Guys, I’m so sorry. I was half asleep when posting this and typed the first half of the description into the emoji bar. This is part of a commission I gave to my good friend @A.nbyii on instagram. Please go check her out she’s an amazing artist
Her words: Unrendered and most definitely unfinished atm will finish by tomorrow.
A Magical Hedgehog?
You could say she’s a ‘hedge’ witch
Patchwork Backholster
Not exactly displayable from the back but looks more than good enough from the front and side
Lions vs Horses drip off
Read some guy’s lore about the Lion knights and Horse knights having some beef between them, and what better way to settle beef than the old reliable drip contest. I tried to put an equal amount of effort into the designs to keep things as fair as possible, but if a clear bias exists that escapes me then you're welcome to call me names😭
(Side note: the single pauldron on the one armed lion knight was bitten off by my rabid cousin, as well as the pieces used to connect the sword and bow to the archer's hips, but after some clean up work around the edges they turned out to be useful for unique figs, sure hope this doesn't affect my purist status😅)
New Sheath piece
Do we know of any other swords aside from the sword of Gryffindor that fits this sheath?
Siege weaponry
Ballistas were fully designed by Banthabricks on rebrickable.
The full Lion Knight army
It occurred to me that I never actually posted the complete lego Lion Knight collection before. So here is the bulk of the army mentioned in a previous post, the full force of the Lion knights. (Ignore the guy in red that’s just placeholder stuff)
Lion knight Army
Divided into castle defense(slide 1) and offensive battalions.
Ancestral blessing
Leon Lionheart, 2nd prince and knight commander of the Lion Knights, kneeling before a statue of his ancestor before the coming battle.
31387 Iconic Pirate Ship
Absolutely fantastic lego set for its price, 4 really well designed minifigs(plus mr skeleton) with the beautifully crisp modern printing, a great build and a good amount of play features. 31387 blew me away with the quality of it all. Also the inclusion of very desirable pieces like the pearl gold flag pieces are great for the creator lineup. Albeit not as good of a ship as its predecessor, the side build and minifigure selection imo are a big step up from the older creator ship. Definitely a must buy for anyone looking to expand the pirate ship collection or just have a nice display piece
Fixing the LKC ramp(credits to Pantelismanthos)
Fantastic redesign by Pantelis of one of the LKC’s only weak points, the rather ugly giant cheese slope of a ramp out front. With just a few extra bricks and tiles you can cook up a much cooler and much more functional ramp. Instructions are completely free too as a plus. Unfortunately my order was missing all the curved tile pieces required for the handrail thingeys. But since I didn’t want to take apart the ramp I was already more fond of, I turned the lack of bricks into the centre piece of the ramp itself as a construction site. Despite the missing pieces this moc is still an absolute 10/10 and a fantastic job done by the creator
LKC appreciation post
Officially the 6 month anniversary of getting mine and many’s favorite lego set of all time, The Lion Knights’ Castle.
