The Old Oak Treant.

THE OLD OAK TREANT.

(May You Bloom series, Pt. 1)

Hi again, folks! I know it's been a while since I've posted, but I'd like to get back into the swing of things, and keep sharing some builds with y'all. This is the first post in a series of treants I've built for the #MayYouBloom challenge hosted by @bricksandfables over on Instagram. I tried to loosely base each of these treants off of a type of tree, though I'll admit that I'm certainly no dendrologist. I also did my best to give each treant a unique color scheme. This first treant is based on an old oak tree!

Though it is true that treants grow larger and stronger with age, it is also true that treants grow at different rates and paces based on their environment, just like their un-awakened counterpart. Here, we see a treant who is many centuries old, though his size wouldn't give it away. Despite his relatively small stature, this ancient and wisened plant is full of love for the forest around him and a commitment to protecting it.

Treants generally stick to the land that they know, though in times of great significance, they have been known to leave their native lands and gather with other treants to address larger issues that threaten their homes. This treant seems to be following the call of a fellow treant that beckons him out of his abode. I wonder who it could be..?

Iconic Creatures - my new project

Hey fans, here I am! I know you're all very passionate, and each of us has different opinions about iconic characters, but this is my favorite selection of MTG characters! Please don't get angry! Hahaha. It would be great to have a LEGO MTG set, and I'm trying it on LEGO IDEAS. If you would like it too, help me get to 10K with a vote at this link: https://beta.ideas.lego.com/product-ideas/e08177ea-ed28-45af-b90c-84ed427428c7

I remind those who don't know, that if successful, LEGO would completely redo the Set, so it could improve my work if you don't like it (πŸ˜…). Thanks to everyone who gives me 30 seconds to make my dream come true!

To kitbash or not?

So I'm making a Tiefling Warlock for a new campaign, and I can't figure out whether I want to kitbash my minifig to be closer to my drawing of her (photo 5) or get a second CMF tiefling to use for spare parts. I didn't really envision her having orange skin but I don't know if I can find a head and tail in light or medium azure that would work. What do you think?

Some of my favorite figures I’ve built for each class!

My minis for the 12 base classes plus an Artificer! My biggest takeaway putting these together is I have a lot of character ideas for Paladin, while Druid and Monk are underrepresented. Last slide are some villains from campaigns I’ve ran!
