Weird white filter overlaying everything on my monitor
I'm not entirely certain what I did, but a bit ago I pressed (or attempted to press) Windows+alt+g to take a screen recording of the last 30 seconds of gameplay. In doing so, I inadvertently caused some sort of filter over my screen. It originally was some sort of sharpening/color deepening filter, but then I button mashed to fix the issue (like a genius) and then the filter turned a transparent white. It overlays everything on screen. I have looked through all the settings that would cover this sort of issue, as well as restarting the computer, to no avail. I'm not a very tech savvy person, so I've tried everything that I saw on the internet, and I have even looked though Reddit, and have found no solutions, or anything that seems related to my issue.
Things I've tried thus far:
- left alt+left shift+print screen
- windows+ctrl+shift+b
- The colors and themes menus in settings
- reinstalling display adapters (I don't know that that means some guy just said to try it)
I would appreciate any help that can/would be provided, it is a small issue, but its quite irritating to look at and makes games unenjoyable to me. Thanks once again.
