How do you make most use of MixedinKey

Does someone have an SOP of how they utilise mik in their preparation? How have you discovered your own best way?

I have had it for two years and I really like the function that it marks hot cues automatically. But I also think it's a huge work that I cannot batch adjust BPMs then I have to go one by one. I constantly have to correct half-time BPM detection in Mixed In Key.

And I wish I could fix the beat grid inside mik. Sometimes it's too slow if I upload 50 songs all in, it would be stuck and way slower than rekordbox.

I used to follow those key colors but now I found it's the best to follow our ears and intuition of what to mix!!

How to train whippets to slow down in agility training

When running courses, my dog just runs full speed to for example to an A frame and then jumps off as fast as she could.

  1. I’m trying to train her to slow down or follow me all the way, but how? And what could be the best way for whippets to understand what “slow down” is?

  2. And she gets easily distracted at the beginning of the course by other dogs, or refuses to do the things par example she doesn’t really like zigzag, so she either runs away or doesn’t move. How do I motivate her that this is sth fun?

  3. She could sit and stay in a place 5m from me for up to one minute if we were in a rather quiet open place, but in the training when there are 20 dogs barking and distractions she couldn’t even hold 5sec to sit and stay, how should I train her to focus in this situation?

  4. Also sometimes when gets excited and she jumps to hump me or bite me - I’m using a fur toy to release this part of the energy it helps a bit, but why does this happen?
