Missed out on Realme GT 7T due to a sudden midday price hike on May 8th! Highly disappointed @Realme
Hey everyone, just wanted to vent out a bit and see if anyone else faced this frustrating issue with Realme's pricing strategy.
I had been saving up and planning to buy the Realme GT 7T during the ongoing sales. My strict budget was around ₹26,000, and the phone was perfectly fitting into it. I was literally all set to hit the 'Buy Now' button.
But on 8th May 2026, right in the afternoon, when I opened the app to finally place the order, to my absolute shock, the price had suddenly shot up to ₹29,499!
Literally within a few hours, mid-day, they hiked the price by thousands, pushing it completely out of my budget. I couldn't buy it, and my plans of getting a new phone are completely ruined.
Why do brands pull off such sudden price hikes in the middle of the day during a sale season? It feels incredibly unfair to consumers who wait and plan their purchases carefully.
If anyone from the Realme India Support team is reading this: I am still genuinely interested in buying the Realme GT 7T. If you guys can help me with a special discount coupon, voucher, or a price-match deal to bring it back closer to my budget, I am ready to complete the purchase right away. Please check if something can be done.
