So I made this.
I was originally intending it to be a pillowcase but it didn't work out, it wasn't big enough and plus when I sewed the ends together it had one wave cut in half so it didn't turn out right, but it ended up fitting like a tube top! I don't like the placement of the rainbow now that it's a shirt and not a pillowcase. I could also just detach the ends and make it a pretty table runner?? Idk what do y'all think? I kind of hate it kind of love it but don't know what to do with it. Should I add shoulder straps? A halter strap? Help lol. This is my second completed project, the first being a blanket (pic attached of the blanket too just for fun 😊) (blanket isn't blocked yet and probably never will be cause I don't have the materials or know how to do it and took over a year to make so I don't want to risk fucking it up 😭)
And last photo is what I'm working on now, using almost the same pattern as the rainbow top, I wanted a tube top but with better colors and a little more texture so thats what I'm making now, using the same exact measurements to fit just like the rainbow piece.
(White yarn I don't know the name of, it was donated to me. Pattern is fan and feather. Rainbow yarn is from Michael's can't remember the name. The blanket is Caron Big Cake self striping yarn and the pattern is the shaker rib pattern found on the inside of the yarn label. And the one I'm working on now is fan and feather pattern, Caron big cake self striping yarn)
