I am trying to help my lacrosse loving son. He is a 8th grader we live in a part of Maryland where lacrosse is very competitive. He practices at home everyday.

My issue is everytime I sent him to a clinic or camp they are not good for him.

Either they are :

Below his level (like for beginner)

Not enough kids his age sign up so he can’t improve or hit

Focus mostly on offense though they say defense skills.

Have a lacrosse famous person and have way too many kids to learn something.

I am not doing a good job finding camps /clinics.

How do find a good camp for him ? What should I look for or ask when looking at camps/clinics/ trainer.
