First Volvo XC60 T8 Ultra w/ B&W
My wife actually convinced me to even consider a Volvo for our family car, which is what we drive with the kids. So she bought an XC90 a couple months ago and I absolutely fell in love with it. I liked it so much I traded my almost brand new 2026 Tesla Model 3 Performance for a brand new 2026 Volvo XC60 T8 Ultra because at the end of the day, I really found myself enjoying the quality materials, premium ride quality, and super quiet cabin on the XC90. Since this is my personal car, I wanted to go with the Ultra for the Nappa leather seats, and I opted for the Bowers & Wilkins sound system.
This car puts a smile on my face every time I drive it and I’ve had tons of cars ranging from Audis, Teslas, Lincoln, etc. The T8 powertrain gives me the option to have a super smooth and quiet ride for up to 50 miles (better range than expected) or throw it into power mode for a 0-60 in 4.5 seconds for some spirited driving. Honestly though, I find myself wanting to keep it in EV mode just for how peaceful the ride is. Plus, with no engine noise it really makes the sound system shine even more.
Can’t really say enough good things about this car and the newer Volvos in general. Looking forward to potentially getting the EX60 in the future!
