[MBC] Autumn Willow, Harmony
This might be the only new card out of the MBC lot that interests me enough for my cube. A 5-mana creature for the Lands.dec, Autumn Willow contests a slot with Titania, and while not nearly as powerful as her, Autumn Willow isn't as niche as her either.
A 3/3 body isn't great, but the hexproof helps. A 1/1 landfall trigger is another way this card reminds me of Titania, and doubling the mana production of land creatures would've been mostly a fun way to have the token generate double green a few years ago, but today synergizes with a bunch of stuff, most notably Badgermole Cub.
I wish Autumn Willow had an attack trigger, too, making it a titan that ramps; alas, this might have been tad too strong for a limited release commander card, even if the 3/3 body makes good attacks hard. As it is, I don't think this breaks in power-motivated cubes, but it is a fun design for cubes just below Legacy levels.
Or at least cubes that run a bunch of Earthbend cards.
Anyone experience this kind of breakage with Sony ULT YY2981?
About a month ago, after some consideration, I bought my first Sony ULT headphones. I knew they had an issue with the hinge, but I also knew they have a program for replacing headphones with this issue.
I've been very careful with my headphones, but yesterday this part snapped while I was putting them on my head. I did not apply much pressure on them not did I flex them too much, this was a very normal motion for a pair of headphones.
I checked, and it seems my serial number is not one covered by their program. It's also not an issue that really affects my usage of them, but I am worried that with time more failure points will appear if it is not fixed. I'm especially worried that this failure will put too muchbrepeated pressure on the hinges.
Anyone else seen their headphones fail in such a way?
The Talos Principle 3 announced, coming out 2027
youtube.comA Fact or Fiction for the modern age! I think this compares very nicely to Stock Up, although Stock Up remains undefeated as the premium 3 mana draw 2 spell in Blue. But instant speed, filling the graveyard, the sheer design aesthetic, and the very rare occasion where this will allow you to draw three cards makes this probably the second or third best variation of that spell.
This will certainly shine in decks that work with the graveyard. I can see Dimir Reanimate or Izzet Delve Tempo making a very good use of this card. Drawing two and binning 3 cards is a very good rate, especially since you get some control over the cards you draw.
What remains to be seen is just how much control you get. Fact or Fiction has been outclassed in many cubes for years now, but this is the inverse of it. The strength of this card will end up being determined by how often the face down pile misleads the opponents. I suspect this card will end up playing better in the hands of players who can bluff a straight when sitting on a hand with a 2 and a 7 when playing poker.
