A flanged mace had made in poland by a blacksmith i commissioned for one, early 2025.

Not sure if it falls under the flair "homemade", though a blacksmiths place is also a home to so, haha.

At 91cm long and 2.55kg its a big hefty bugger, though it sits nicely on the wall and smashes things no isseus.

The axe is a forged firewood axe that i also like to hang on my wall... in fact i hang quite a lot of random things on the walls now i think about it haha.

Also do ignore the swords, yes they're also functional, the kanji on the black translates to "sorrow", but hey look! A beautiful mace! That's what we're here for.

Ps, Yhe grip of the flanged mace is carved wood.

As the title indicates, I can't find this product any more and I'm looking for a similar one because mine has unfortunately broke down after having been knocked down one time too many.
I bought mine a long time ago, about 16 years now give or take?
At the Intertoys toystore in Hoofddorp, Netherlands, though they don't sell them anymore these days to no-ones surprise.

i haven't been able to find any for sale online any more either, ebay neither.
Although it may well be for sale still and maybe available in Japan...
But I can't read that language or many others to buy items from there seeing i am Dutch.
Likewise if the product name has been changed into something else than "Solar Flip Flap" or "sun powered wobbly plant" in the meantime i'm at a loss haha.

The quality and weight of this particular plastic product was/is imho just good, sturdy and above all a nicely matt colour that did not fade quickly.
it's movement similarly was a very nice and smooth action to watch and not so hastily and overdone like many now.
it was also a fair bit bigger than the trinkets that you can find a lot now.
i've only found the more modern much cheaper (looking/feeling) junk that breaks faster, fades quickly and also shines quite ugly...

if anyone knows how/where i can get a replacement that be great. A qualitatively similar copy thing to this old Tomy item is also fine, unfortunately I just haven't come across any yet.
i also don't know quite know what name to look for as all i get are the same cheap knockoffs over and over and over...

any help would be much appreciated!

Den helder.... usually amongst the coolest places... my AC working overtime but keeping up...

My yard tiles are scorching hot at a blistering, literally, 46+C (keep your pats paws safe!)

The weather station i own measured a local temperature above 36C... it's ehm... something... the regular yard thermometers most people use are above 40...

I can only imagine how bad it actually is in places like alkmaar, amsterdam... worse even in utrecht and such more inland locations and limburg must be equivalent to mordor by now...
