When I was in primary school (I'm 33 now) cursive was taught as standard and it was expected of students. However, according to my nephew (who is in year 5) it's not something that they teach anymore. With higher education in particular, everything is submitted digitally, so is it really a dying skill? I've written in cursive my whole life and don't thing I could stop if I tried.

I'm remembering a scene from a film where someone is trying to find the door (which acts as a portal) to somewhere keeps testing lots of different doors. A group of researchers or something similar to through a door (I they wore red hazmat type suits) and discover a world full of cute little furry animals. However, they suddenly turn violent, attack all the people and cut the rope connecting them back to the humans side of the door.
