So this is a wild goose chance but I thought I’d give it a try!
So the only thing i remember about the movie was one scene, two people( male and female) running from a gang at night and they escape by jumping off a overpass onto a garbage truck,
The stuff I remember was the gang was wearing masks like Zorro and had cowboyhats or sombreros there were wearing maybe outfit that all match,
The man and woman were white the male was maybe wearing a blue or grey shirt,
I watch this move when I was a child because my dad put on the tv and fell asleep and me and my sister watched it hahaha,
It could have been a movie from the 80/90 it was on a channel called KVOS which I believe is now Me TV
That all I can think of, I was very young but that one scene is burned into my mind, thank for any help.
I watched a movie several years ago while in a hotel. The movie's basic plot was about a father and daughter with a strained relationship. The father had a book in his home that, when read, gradually turned him into a monster. The "solution" to this was to read the book while standing and a scythe would swing from the ceiling to kill the reader, granting them mercy. The father does NOT take this way out but instead manages to reconcile with his daughter.
I've tried searching for this film for a while but no luck thus far. Help?
I’m starting to think I maybe just dreamed this, and it’s not an actual movie, but maybe someone can help. My step-grandma had this movie I would watch as a kid and I can’t remember the name, but I remember a few key details if it’s real. Whatever it is, it’s nothing I’ve been able to google, so it’s really niche.
- the movie is older, probably between the 50s and 70s, but it was definitely real people with a trained seal, and not animated. It is in color.
- the movie followed this seal pup who got stranded and found by a man who lived and worked on the ocean, though I can’t remember his actual job. I think he was a fisherman.
- the man raises the seal in his home with his granddaughter, she is probably between 7-12 years of age. If I remember correctly, they either raised the seal pup through the winter, or through the rest of the pup raising season.
- the man had a set of stairs or a platform built on the beach that, during high tide, was inaccessible, so he would warn his granddaughter to not be stuck on the platform during high tide.
-the end of the movie I think is where the granddaughter realizes the seal pup has grown and needs to go home, so she takes the seal to the aforementioned platform as high tide is coming, and “sets the seal free”.
-I feel like this movie took place somewhere in Northern European area, Greenland, Iceland, New England area of the world if it helps.
From what I can google, it’s not Andre, this movie wasn’t a comedy. It’s not Sandy the Seal, or The Golden Seal. I’m ready to accept the fact this movie probably doesn’t exist and my childhood made it all up, but any help is appreciated!
Like the title says, I'm looking for a movie about a burnout (maybe architecture student/graduate?) Who starts dealing drugs, I think on bike.)
He has a wall in his apartment that is a massive chalk board.
His girlfriend/love interest is mad at him
He's a nerdy type. I thought it was Jessie Eisenberg, but I couldn't find this one in his list of films on IMBD, so maybe just a similar actor, I watched it around the same time as Adventureland.
Help!
Honestly, title is pretty much all I can remember. I think I watched it between 2000-2010 and it's probably a comedy but I can't even be sure about that.
Ruled Out:
- Encino Man
- Dumb and Dumberer
- Biodome
- Grind
- Harold and Kumar
The plot is a baby sitter is plagued by a nuisance caller who keeps asking if she has "checked the children".Eventually she becomes so scared she phones the telephone company to get the calls traced. They come back and tell her the calls are coming from INSIDE the house.
It turns out he has killed the children upstairs.
The movie then jumps in time. The baby sitter now has children of her own but the murderer has escaped from a mental institution . She has had her name in the local paper and he sees it. I forget the plot but i think he comes after her and her children. It was a scary horror film that I saw when I was a teenager . I never ever saw it again and i wondered what it was called . Thanks
Okay can’t remember exact premise but the main character is a young white man who ends up on a pacific island where he is living among the indigenous ppl there. I don’t think he is the only white person there; I think he is there to study for anthropology but maybe he is a missionary I’m not sure.
He is warned to sleep w a blanket but it’s so hot he does not and the rats get at his feet during the night.
The solution to treat him is either a very hot knife or to expose the soles of his feet to the sun all day long. Queue montage of him sunbathing his feet.
Reminds me of medicine man but not sure of exact era. Been trying to remember what this is forever. No one in my family remembers either.
its a movie i remember watching a couple of times in my childhood in the early 2010s.
its about a young girl who lets out her anger about her life through violent and fantastical daydreams. she lives with her mother(/aunt maybe?) whos strict and kinda old fashioned. remember a scene where she made a girl wear a corset and she imagined the mom being attacked by a giant nutcracker. also remember a scene where she didnt want to eat raw snails (makes me think it might be some foreign film?) and instead looked outside at some birds and imagined smth happening.
it had a kinda neutral colour palette and was a little artsy i think
i was rlly scared of this movie as a kid but it also kinda intrigued by it so id really like to find it
I can’t seem to find this movie. All I remember is there are people in a “science building “ and a huge swath of ants is slowly approaching. They cross a moat and maybe a circle of fire?
I'm looking for a comedy military movie about a group of young guys who end up in the barracks. The protagonist lies and says “A prostitute gives you a second round for free”. He kept a diary and wrote that his best friend was most likely gay because he never talks about women.
I only remember a few lines of dialogue "You gave him full points for going back to Mom and Dad”
It’s not Full Metal Jacket definitely - the name was related to the fort where they were staying.
Thank you in advance.
Does anybody remember the name of this movie?
A scene has a woman and I think her daughter playing in the park. The woman step away for a little bit and van pulls up.
Some people get out the vans and take the little girl. The woman comes back and sees that the little girl is gone.
Then the woman sits by a tree and starts crying. Then the movie ends right there.
I'm trying to think of the name of the movie because I remember my mom always watching it.
Yooo I’ve been looking for this for a while but never been able to find anything concrete on it.
I want to say it was an older movie, produced in the 80s I’d guess and I remember watching it on tv in the UK, early 2000s, at like 3 in the morning, so it was a bit of a weird one.
Below are the story details I remember,
It’s mainly a movie about baseball, an old man is attending a kids game? And the ball gets knocked out of bounds, he goes over the fence to get it and I believe some weird guy takes his picture with an old camera.
From here the old man I believe gets turned back into his younger self, I don’t think he gets sent back in time, it’s more de aged.
As due to this, he joins the baseball team as his younger self to help them play and win the big game, I don’t really know baseball.
Pretty sure he kept his memories and knowledge, just that he had his younger body, as at one point his friends mom goes into labour and he drives her car to the hospital which people question him on.
I believe it ends with him going over the same wall during the last game and the guy takes his picture again and he turns back into his old self.
Whenever I search baseball films it’s always been field of dreams but its definitely not that.
Cheers for any suggestions. 👍
So, this is a movie like Beastmaster or Breakfast Club where it was just sort of always on TV but also never something you'd want to start with. I have some childhood trauma from surgery so it may be a "me" thing but the opening scene is them putting someone down for surgery with a face mask. It was a very yellow surgical suite in the way that cigarette stained things are.
I got a very funny tingly feeling in my tummy and had to change the channel. Late 80s to mid 90s for an era.
Can anyone tell me the name of the movie that the soldiers with the red eyes is called? Thank you!
Years ago, at least a decade now, I remember walking into our living room while I was young. My dad I guess was watching a movie and then went to go take a nap. Well, I walk into the iving room a little while after to see this film on the TV that I just can’t quite describe tbh. I know my dad wasn’t watching it and it came on after he went to sleep, but god if I wasn’t interested my self.
I remember it being in a foreign language, at least parts of it. Had your classic 90’s “we’re in Mexico so everything is orange” filter. It was incredibly intense, with scenes jumping from one to the next, it almost felt as if it was multiple movies cutting in and out of each other, it didn’t feel like there was any relation to the scenes at all.
There is this one part I remember vividly though. It was this kid, maybe 9 or 10, strapped to a stone table inside of this empty room. Iirc, it was in this empty, but not abandoned, building in the middle of nowhere. There was a big emphasis on leeches throughout the film (at least the parts I watched), with this particular scene being them crawling all over this kid while he screamed, almost as if it was some sort of ritual or something. It also held many shots on a ceiling fan that was running at an incredibly quick speed, and it seemed to only get more and more erratic the more the kid yelled. The lights were also flickering with building intensity as well. Obviously with all this, there was blood everywhere as well.
That’s really the only part I remember though. I know I watched a good bit of it, almost mesmerized as to what the yell I was witnessing, but I never saw the beginning, and not long after the scene above, I left, because like, wtf. I wish I could give more, but this has always baffled me as to what the hell it was. I remember a heavy emphasis on leeches throughout, with the blood and that damn ceiling fan
So today, I had a memory of this movie and I'm looking for it. Please help.
It was a young Dakota Fanning? Maybe Elle? Idk but she was living in the country with some lady? And ended up running away, met this older guy I believe? The most of the movie was about them traveling on the road in his truck. Blake Lively was there? There was something about a giant stuffed bear? And in the end she ended up killing the guy.
Ringing a bell for anyone?
Hi this might sound strange but I only recall one scene of this movie. There were like a bunch of little dinosaurs running around and outside a house and on top of a car. I think they kind of looked like velociraptors though much smaller. I think the movie was a comedy.
So our son did this like fake cry today and he stuck his hands up in almost in like a T-rex arms fashion and did a quick yell. It reminded me and my wife of a movie scene where a woman does a very similar thing. Like the woman is standing and is looking at something and then out of no where does a quick snap reaction with her hands going in front of her with like this weird cry scream type motion. And she does it multiple times. I remember the person/people around her being shocked by her reaction. But have no clue what movie it is from. We have been google searching for like 2 hours straight now and are no closer to finding it. Please for the love of god let someone here know what scene this is from!!!
When I was a child, I saw a comedy scene on TV where a cyclist got hit by a car. Drivers stopped to help him—I don't recall if it was a man, a woman, or multiple people. The cyclist stood up and said he was fine, refusing to go to the hospital even though he was badly hurt; ironically, he remained polite. At one specific moment, he pointed in a certain direction, and blood started spurting out. The movie was likely from the early 2000s. I believe it was a comedy or a romantic comedy. Does this description sound familiar to any of you?
