I think it's my favorite part of the AQ. Paimon has always been quite the unserious character, so her self-reflecting on her role was a bit surprising, and something I felt was really endearing. Plus her note-taking turned game mechanic is genuinely useful for me as someone who's forgotten details of quests I played 3-4 years ago, plus it suits her role as the player's guide perfectly.

I feel the Traveler senses her insecurity too. They might like to tease Paimon, but they also balance it with words or genuine affection or encouragement.

I also really love how Wanderer is the one who initiates and convinces Paimon to open up, as I think it shows that he truly sees Paimon as a friend and shows how much he's changed as a character.

Paimon deciding not to follow the pair into Irminsul literally made me go "wow, she's grown" as right before Wanderer said it.

It's a small step for a character that has been pretty much the same for the last 5-6 years, but it make me excited for how she'll change in the upcoming regions and AQs.
