A NBIS hometown story
Last summer, Jensen Huang mentioned Nebius and I decided to take a deep dive into the company.
The more I learned, the stronger my conviction became in their mission, execution, and long-term vision.
That same month, I bought 7,000 shares because I kept thinking: if Jensen believes in them, maybe I should too.
Growing up in a small town called Independence, Missouri, and graduating from a small high school called Fort Osage, I never expected Nebius to later announce a new data center in my hometown — and then pay off lunch debts for students at my former high school. That hit differently as I grew up on reduced lunch.
Last year, I ordered a custom license plate and made a promise to myself:
If NBIS ever hit $200 a share, I’d finally put it on my car.
At the time, it felt completely unrealistic.
Yesterday, I grabbed the screwdriver.
Still hard to believe.
Here’s to future growth, building, and proving people wrong.
