Hi everyone I’m looking for some help calibrating my DSi XL for a Shiny Rotom hunt in Pokemon Platinum. I’ve been trying for a while now and I keep bouncing around my target delay.

My Setup:

• Console: DSi XL (Launching from Home Menu)
• Game: Pokémon Platinum
• Target: Shiny Rotom
• Timer: EonTimer
• Tool: PokeFinder

I am struggling to stay on the correct Even/Odd track and my delays are jumping significantly.

• My original target was Delay 1048 in 2028.
• When I hit 1042 (Even), I updated the timer.
• On the next try, I hit 1059 (Odd).
• I moved the year to 2030 to try and get back on the Even track.
• With a Calibrated Delay of 507, I hit 1012 (Even).
• After updating the timer (Calibrated Delay went to 473), my next hit jumped all the way to 1129 (Odd).

Any advice on how to stabilize my hits so I can finally zero in on this shiny would be greatly appreciated!
