So ive been doing a dream team quest in my copy of sapphire and im on my 6th member (kyogre), however there is one problem, the battery has run dry and kyoger is a soft reset hunt. I thought i could just replace the battety it and keep going, but i read somewhere that replacing the battery isnt enough because the rng might still be messed up or something. Is this true and if so what can i do to fix this?

I thought it was just me, but me and my friend both have constant crashing with it on the most recent mGBA, tried going back a few versions and it seems to be the same, it just randomly crashes

I spent 300+ hours coding a browser game that is basically Pokémon meets an old-school mafia RPG.

You play as a Team Rocket-style recruit instead of the usual good-guy trainer. The game has crimes, missions, towns, Pokémon hunting, training, battles, gangs, jail, and account progression.

It’s a retro text-based browser game, so the fun is more about clicking around, grinding, unlocking things, and slowly building your character/team over time.

I’m at the stage where I need fresh eyes on the early game. I’m especially trying to figure out if the first few minutes are clear, if crimes feel too punishing, and if progression feels too fast or too slow.

Playing diamond on my original DS lite - I have the cute charm glitch going and have RNG'd for a solid 5 IV Giratina and Riolu, wanted to know if I could use the same seed as those to generate a Shiny Arceus when in the Void

Hey all, I just did the ACE glitch and and had the mail come up with the question marks so I know it was done correctly. I followed Papa Jefe's guide and am using the ACE Code generator to "Replace TID with SID" but nothing is different. My boxes are named the EXACT same thing that the generator says: I even crossed checked it with the video. I did the little swap Pokemon thing to activate it and nothing. My Trainer ID is exactly the same as it was.

What am I doing wrong?

I'm seeing stuff about how to determine your SID based off of timing and then looking at your TID, but nothing about manipulating the TID to be a specific number. Is this just not something possible at the moment for FRLG?

I'm seeing one of the Blisy guides saying that it's 3 frame perfect inputs, and that the RNG runs faster than usual during the beginning of the game, but no other details, is it really THAT hard to hit the correct inputs?

I don't mind if I don't know my SID, i'm going to just look at that via phex now that i have a way to get my save file tbh, i just wanted to get a neat TID number if i could.

I finally got my Shiny starter!
I set out for the past 2 hr prepared to recalibrate as much as it took. I decided that if I’m close within 1 frame I will try to do it like 5+ times in hopes that I get it. When I got a false flag, after 5x trying the same timer on eon. I thought surely my secret ID is just not right. Then I said yolo and calibrated the timer that ONE LAST TIME and boom. 💥 🤯 I got the shiny. Same stats and nature that I set out to get 2 hours ago. This has been a long grind for me but I have learned so much. I’m super proud of myself and I appreciate all the help from you guys even when I was asking braindead questions. I feel like I won a Grammy…

Alright seeing recent successes of other here, got me really bummed out 😂

Can someone please try to break down this process for me? I've watched the blisy video and read so many other posts. I just have specific questions when it comes to the process and where/why to make certain adjustments.

1. How do I even know what to select for my initial seed?

2. After leveling up to 6 or 7. If I get no results what does that mean? Is my search to narrow or is my SID wrong?

3. How many times should I be leveling up to 7 before I know how close I actually am to my seed?

4. What if my search results never give me the initial seed I picked?

5. In eon timer, when adjusting the continue advances, after I update them with the hit from my first set of results, do I then keep updating the hit or start over from scratch with those new results.

Unless I glanced over this in a post or in the video I watched. I just don't understand. This stuff is confusing 🤣🥲😢😭

Keep getting error

Does anyone know how to fix this please? I'm using a capture card and heard using OBS might help but I have no clue, this is my first time doing the blink method. Kept redoing the eye screenshot but still this error keeps popping over and over again when I try to monitor the blinks.
