Lost wallet found in hajj 2024
TLDR; A Pakistani man found a wallet with saudi and sudani currency in 2024 hajj. It contained service card of excise police department. He is trying to find the man.
Not sure if this is the right sub. I am a Pakistani and this was posted by one of the social worker from our country on FB. Any leads would be appreciated. I am posting the translated post almost word to word as the actual one is in urdu.
There is a Pakistani Haji,
His case is that he was present in the Haram Sharif in the year 2024 to perform the Hajj.
During the Tawaf-e-Mataf, he found a wallet containing a few thousand riyals and some Sudanese coins. There were ATM cards and a service card.
The service card belonged to the Excise Police Department.
He says that I kept the wallet in my hand for a long time and kept calling people, but no one claimed it. I was about to give the policeman that he should deposit it in lost and found and if the owner comes to find him, he will give it to him.
A colleague suggested that he should not give this money to the police but give the remaining papers. In case the money disappears from the wallet, we will be held responsible for it. We will go to the Sudanese, he was a government servant, maybe we will be able to find him.
I did so in a hurry, then stayed there for a long time, but no one was seen who was looking for anything.
And wherever we met the citizens of Sudan, we did not find any trace of him.
I have kept that money with me till today, I want to deliver that to them before I die.
You spread my voice in Sudan through social media, announce that if any official of the Excise Police Department has gone on Hajj in 2024, we can easily find him, we will ask for a proof and hand over the money to him.
