We should change our view regarding the Mahdists

The Mahdist regime is the founding era of modern Sudan. It's commonly accepted in our country that the Mahdists were anti-colonialist heroes, that they fought the Egyptians and the British. But that couldn't be farther from the truth. They fought their own people first, massacring anyone who didn't accept the prophecy of Muhammad Ahmad. How many villages in Central and North Sudan were depopulated by the people whose descendants would later become the Janjaweed? How can we claim to oppose the RSF if we don't condemn their Mahdist ancestors, Ta'ishi and others? Additionally, the Mahdist regime emerged out of opposition to the banning of slavery, and slavery would go on to thrive under their regime. They are not our heroes.

English Wikipedia has removed the war in sudan from its front page

For a long time the "ongoing" section only had three pages, the gaza war, the russo-ukraine war, and the sudan war. It has changed with additions of other wars and events and even once showed the el-fasher massacre in that section. However now wikipedia editors involved in the discussion have decides to remove it to make way for other events that are apparently more important than the deaths of thousands. Such as the "flamingo revolution" which are anti-government protests in Albania.

Relationship with a Christian lover

Alright, I'll try to make this as short as possible :

I'm 100% Sudanese, multicultural cuz i was born in Egypt, 1st half of my life was spend in Sudan (0 - 9) and then we moved to Egypt (9 - 14) which was the 2nd and most important half, and now I'm in Belgium since i was 14 and i grew up here. I met a girl online, we've the same vibe, similar interests (Anime ≠ K-Drama) and we are like soul mates without exaggeration, but... There's one problem, she's a Christian and her father is a Pastor, but that didn't bother us, the days went by and we fell in love with each other, we decided to put some boundaries which we didn't really abide 🙄, saying love is OK but a serious relationship can wait till we move out or something else happens.

Distance isn't a real problem right now (Ghana), i know some people who stick to the cultural opinions and these stuff would say not to marry a Christian, i don't believe in that, what Halal is Halal = Culture stays in the corner. We've the same vibes, similar dreams of studying together abroad in Japan & China, we love each other for for real.

My question is : Should i stay with her or not, this would break her heart of course and mine too, am i doing the right thing?

*I didn't go deep so this wasn't so accurate, but thanks for reading all this 🙂

A discussion about Sudan

President Simulator.

Can't write properly

Thing's I'll do I guess if i was the president,

Just opinions and probably won't ever happen,

Obviously I've learned most of them from observing politics for the past few years😄😅😄😅,

So you might've heard them somewhere,

Also note:- I believe ALL political parties and militias should be banished and ended that's why I won't even bother mentioning them,

1st introduce unlimited internet,

I don't consider limited internet as internet,

It limits someone's use, you think a million times before clicking on a YouTube video,

That's why most only use the internet either for communication or useless media scrolling,

Instead of educational purposes,

Internet Literally changes human beings,

I still feel alot of the population is naive,

Even when it comes to the simplest of topics,

If you're old enough,

Look at yourself before being introduced to the internet and after and tell me you aren't much more educated and cultured than before.

2nd close the country for 2 years

meaning no more resources leaving the country,

focus on farming and building even use outside companies with all of that if needed no problem,

Nothing and I mean nothing leaves the country,

The purposes is feeding the country first

(figuratively and literally) and then sell your resources instead of starving the nation and feeding others.

3rd cancel every single agreement between the past politicians/soldiers or whatever represented the country back then and the outside

companies/countries,

Except the ones that actually help the country,

If needed pay them as compensation for cancelling their agreements doesn't matter,

New starts require burying the old failures and corruptions that happened before.

4th regarding sports send young talent to outside,

no matter the how good your academies are,

outside academies are better and more experienced and would help develop the young talent more.
