Hi All, just picked up this Rolling Block at an auction for $160 including auction fees and tax. It needs some work but have wanted a rolling block for a while and enjoy projects. I am going to slug the barrel and do a chamber cast but according to a basic gauge it is .45 caliber and doesn’t fit 45-70 brass so I preliminarily believe it is in .43 Spanish Reformado but I am not a expert and will defer to those who know more than me. Any information you have I would greatly appreciate! I have attached pictures of all the markings that are on the gun. Thank you so much for reading!
