Confused about what to do about my thyroid nodule
I (24F) have a TR3 thyroid nodule solid its features on ultrasound refer to thyroid adenoma but my first biopsy showed colloid nodule (bethesda 2). Now I’ve been monitoring it for a year and a half and it grew by 4 mm x 2 mm. Now I’m really anxious about the follow up thing I have scan anxiety and I just can’t handle I want this whole thing over with so I thought of hemithyroidectomy but everyone warns about the long term side effects of this but I’d rather deal with them than constantly anxious my nodule is cancer also I have like a tiny lymph node on the same side of the nodule it doesn’t show on ultrasound but I can’t feel it so now I’m in constant anxiety about the next scan and want to end this thing forever ,but I’m confused if someone has a similar experience please …
