4th Date idea for Galway/ surrounding areas

I’ve been dating a guy who I also happen to work with. We are in our early 30s. Both outdoorsy, foodie and relatively easy going. We’ve done the drinks, dinner date and an activity. I said I’d organise a weekend day date and would love some recommendations/ ideas. Open to anything from a hike & coffee rec, pottery, a show ect …. Hopping to get a few nice brownie points here so all tips welcome.

Worst haircut of my life ! Help

I went to a very popular hairdressers in Galway (big on social media) this week and unfortunately feel my hair has been absolutely ruined by a young stylist.

Booked in for a wash cut a blow dry. I have naturally wavy, thick glossy hair. I really look after it. It was straightened within an inch of its life as I was told that’s how they see what needs to be cut. The ends got a light dust. When I asked were they going to put any shape into it as I had booked a cut wash and blow dry, a separate stylist was called. In an attempt to add some shape she just cut chunks into my hair.

I’ve now been left with an extremely thick top layer that doesn’t blend and a skinny bottom layer. Not far off a mullet ! To add insult to injury I was told they had no mirror in the salon as it broke so I couldn’t see the back of my hair until I got home. It wasn’t styled. I left with pin straight, flat and dead looking hair.

Long story short , where could I get a good haircut in Galway city to hopefully fix this mess .

I’m really gutted and the confidence has taken a big hit ….
