There was a time when there wasn’t enough TTOC’s to fill positions and non-enrolling teachers had to cover.
Now, the tide has turned and TTOC work is not as abundant—and scarce for some depending on subject area.
Do you think this is the new norm? That TTOCing is not sustainable on its own to make a living or do you think that things will go back to the days when TTOC’s got enough work?

I’ve been recovering from the burnout of the last school year and I hope to make a dent in my (endless) Summer “to-do” list…🫣
I can't tell him that I want a divorce, yet, because I don't want to talk to him about it and I need to get my finances, etc. in order first. We don't have kids. I think it will take me at least 1 year to get my finances and living situation set-up before filing for divorce.
Do any of you have any tips for how to fake it for 1 year? Fake it meaning pretending to be "friendly".

How long did it take for you to recover from the school year and actually be “productive”?
