5 month old second and third lobes
OK, so I got my second and third lobes on both ears pierced at the same time 5 months ago. They are mostly healed and very occasionally get irritated, but I feel like I can’t really clean them properly, and I can only remove two of the earrings out of the four because the backs are really stuck on.
They are like rounded back studs, not flat back, and I was wondering if it would be better to get small titanium hoops or some type of flat back stud so that it’s comfortable to sleep in, but I’m able to get the backs off and get the earrings out if I need to clean them or if they get irritated.
I’ve had a piercing bump happen and then go away once and they really only get irritated when my hair snags on them, but that kind of happens often with the studs and I was wondering if it would happen less with very small hoops because my hair never gets snagged on my first lobe when I have hoops in.
I live too far away from a piercer to go get them professionally changed out.
