Hackergadgets wait?

I ordered the AIO V2 upgrade kit a few weeks ago. Is there always a long wait? I’ve gotten my uConsole and the cm5 core already from AliExpress/neward and waiting on adapter board still and all were ordered at same time.

Looking to buy CM5 Core

Hello all! I just received my case and ordered an adapter board for cm5 from AliExpress.

I need to buy the core, everyone claims Newark is the place to go, however, there are many options

It’s for messing around with light coding and maybe some games, eventually I’d like to install an LLM. But that’s later.

Model suggestions?

Howdy! Assist?

Hello!

I just got a

OpenSourceSDRLab uConsole Kit RPI-CM4 Lite with ClockworkPi v3.14 mainboard

Off Ali express. No core, WiFi version.

I know the CM5 needs an adapter, and I’m looking for suggestions. Or anything folks might think I need to pick up as well, would be super helpful

Thin to thick?

I recently got my hands on a thin 5th gen and a thin 6th gen. Is there anything stopping me from going to the larger size? I like the feel of the larger ones personally, I figured it would give me extra room for a better battery, maybe even add BLE. I’m new to the modding iPods.

Any advice would be helpful.

Anyone tried a silent or vibrate?

So, I’m working on building out a mesh. The older generation in my family was hoping there’s a way to make a companion node vibrate. I think it should be quite simple, but I figured I’d ask before diving into that project since I don’t have a 3D printer. Any components I plan to build would need to be collaborative or be printable and then shipped to me. I have several types and brands available to try in this application. Any direction or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Question/advice.

I have several devices all updated with the latest firmware. I recently set up a new repeater, which appears to be functioning, but I can’t remotely access it from any device except one.

Furthermore, the device that can remotely access the repeater seems to be the only one that doesn’t receive direct messages from the other devices. It’s also the only device that can log the repeated messages.

However, the devices which can still communicate; are able to with each other over extended distances

Has anyone run into a similar issue(s)?

Thanks!

MeshCore Directional

Has anyone tried using a directional antenna to get signal further out of city? With many urban areas having trouble with node placement, has anyone tried using an antenna to point towards an allowed repeater to send signal further? Especially in areas with flatter terrain like northern IN

Being prepared doesn’t mean it has to look bad.

I worked with a great guy on Etsy to create a docking port for multiple WisMesh Tags. I had access to some high grade and impact resistant enamel paint, so I refinished the 3D printed case. Everything he sent was top notch quality and worked perfectly, I just wanted to put my own little spin on it. Please enjoy.

Has anyone used any of the small drone antennas for an external Bluetooth antenna to increase ranges for OTA? I’ve heard some good things. Wondered if anyone else has tried
