3.5 year old feels like no progress for months 🫩

Hi! I am hoping for some input about our little boy 3.5 year old whose potty progress has seemingly plateaud for the last 4 or so months. Me and my husband are frustrated and sort of… confused about how things could be so stubbornly the same over this stretch!

He was probably 90% potty trained in May-June before his third birthday, then had a pretty good regression (is this even the right term? Again…. Confused, lol) when he moved daycare classes. Back to having 2-3 accidents per day. We went back to basics which seemed to do nothing, and even went back to 2 weeks of pull ups at the daycare teachers suggestion when we felt like the emotional temperature had been turned up too high re: accidents. We’ve done rewards etc.

It just seems for the last 3 months he does not even make any attempt to avoid an accident, doesn’t make any reference to a physical sensation of starting to pee/poop, freaks out when we just put him on the potty because it’s been a few hours.

I am super duper frustrated, running out of laundry detergent, and feel partly like I’m being manipulated by a tiny psychological terrorist. Would take any tips!
Thanks!
