Should I apply for OT school now or should I wait a year?

I am going into my senior year, and I just found out about OT. My major is psychology/sociology and OT sounds much better than doing counseling. The only thing is that I don't have A&P 1 and 2 and medical terminology done. If I want to apply to start immediately after I finish my undergrad, as far as I know, I would have to have A&P 1 done before October.

I'm debating if I should wait and apply next year to get in in 2028. I am an international student, so I would have to pick up a random master's if I waited to apply next year. I would be able to apply if I took A&P1 during the summer, but that would be a huge time commitment (I have trips planned and I work), and I don't know if I would get into OT school if I applied this fall.

My GPA is 3.96, and I could get around 120 hours working in a Wellness and Motor Behavior lab by the time I need to apply this year. I also have experience teaching swim lessons/lifeguarding and I am the supplemental instructor for statistics (idk if this helps at all). I'm not too worried financially because my parents pay for my school.

I guess my main question is, could I get in with my GPA and experience if I apply this fall? Is it worth taking A&P 1 this summer? I'm looking to apply to Tarleton State and Texas Women's University. If anyone has a similar experience, please share it. Anything would be helpful!
