What are you best hacks to getting cheaper accom for a night or couple nights stay at falls creek?

Can be in the form of camping in car and other ops, keen to hear them all.

I’m considering riding from Wagga Wagga to Adelaide for the 2027 Tour Down Under and wanted to see if anyone has done something similar.

It looks like it would be around 900–1,000 km, so probably 7–10 days of riding.

Has anyone done this route, and what way would you recommend? I’m mainly wondering about:

- Best route
- Road conditions and traffic
- Water and accommodation options
- Headwinds
- Any sections to avoid

I’ve done plenty of long rides, but this would be my first multi-day tour.

If you were in my shoes, would you do it?
