Trade for fl5?
Hey everyone, I recently picked up a 2026 Civic Si back in August 2025 after getting into an accident with my 2016 BMW 435i xDrive. I honestly love the car. It's fun, handles great, feels quick enough, and the gas mileage is awesome.
My issue is I just find myself wanting a little more. Coming from the BMW, the Si sometimes feels a bit underwhelming power-wise. I’m stuck between doing some light mods (normal bolt-ons, clutch upgrade, etc.) and enjoying the car for what it is, or taking the money I’d put into mods and putting that toward trading up into something stronger/faster like an FL5 Type R.
For those who have been in a similar situation, what would you do? Mod the Si and keep it, or save the money and move into an FL5? Any opinions or experiences would be appreciated.
