Didn’t realize how much time I was wasting before using Canva for small projects

I run a small side business and used to overcomplicate literally every graphic I needed. Social posts, flyers, presentation covers, even simple quote graphics would somehow turn into a 2 hour project because I’d keep opening Photoshop and endlessly tweaking things.

I finally started using Canva a few months ago mostly because I needed to make quick social content consistently, and honestly it’s kind of changed my workflow. I still use heavier design tools for certain things, but for everyday stuff Canva is just way faster and less mentally draining.

Biggest surprise for me was how useful the brand kit/templates ended up being once I stopped trying to reinvent every design from scratch.

Curious if anyone else here started using it “temporarily” and then ended up making it part of their normal workflow?

Trying to decide if I should stick with charcoal or finally move to gas

I’ve been using a basic charcoal setup for years, mostly burgers, chicken thighs, steaks, and the occasional ribs on weekends. I love the flavor, but lately I’ve been grilling more during the week and the setup/cleanup time is starting to get old.

I’ve been looking at Weber Grills because a few friends swear by them, but I’m torn between staying with a kettle-style charcoal grill or moving to a Spirit/Genesis gas model for convenience.

For people who made the switch from charcoal to gas, did you actually end up grilling more often? And did you miss the charcoal flavor enough to regret it?

Not trying to overthink it, just want something reliable that makes weeknight grilling easier without feeling like I gave up the fun part.
