Itinerary

Hi guys. Here’s my itinerary for my first week in Japan. Any suggestions, recommendations, especially on the drive from place to place? I’m an easy hiker, so none of the walking intimidates me but I live in a village in central Europe so I enjoy spending time in cities when I travel. Not really into cutesy stuff on the whole.

Arrival Fukuoka airport, pick up car, drive down route 202, via Okawachiyama village, Saikai national park, bridge, coast road to Nagasaki

Nagasaki (2 nights) - China town, Peace Park, Glover Gardens, Dejima

Unzen national park, ropeway, Ayugaeri falls on way to ferry to Kumamoto

Kumamoto (3 nights) - castle, Suizenji Garden, Aso Kuju national park, Takachiho Gorge, Kikuchi Gorge, Nebegataki Falls, Daikanbo viewpoint, Kuminiogaoka observatory

Fukuoka (3 nights) - Ohori Park, Tower sunset

Then train on to Honshu and gradually up to Hokkaido.

One thing I’d like

In Review > Words I can select words I want to focus on in one study period. That’s really good. But that list doesn’t save. So when I go back later that same day, I need to start all over again picking the words I want. I’d like it to save until I tell it to revert to default.

Cursive handwriting

Is cursive handwriting really no longer taught in our school system? I wasn’t aware but I’ve just seen this in a comment under a YT video. So I’m shocked and disappointed. Even if people choose to write in print style, in upper case and lower case, they should still be taught cursive, surely?
