As the title says it’s my first attempt at bagels! I made 3 salt and pepper, 3 poppy seed and 2 plain 😊 I boiled them for a minute each side with honey water and baking powder, and then baked in a fan oven at 200c for 18 minutes (recipe said to egg wash but I omitted it).

Only thing is they’re slightly doughy and could do with a little longer in the oven I think, otherwise still edible and really tasty!!

Very happy with how they turned out, next time I’m going to leave them in slightly longer and try doing the rope and join method instead of poking a hole in the middle (they kinda closed up 😂)
