teacher’s credential program question
hello! I’m a third year next year and I was looking at my audit and if everything goes to plan, I can get all my courses done by 4th year first semester. however, I know the teachers credential program had prerequisite courses you need to complete to even be accepted. Unless I’m wrong. But I was wondering those of you who have gone through the process or are in the midst of it, did you take them after you graduated or before you graduated? I heard from some high school teachers I keep in contact with that taking them after graduation is preferred because it counts as extra units and therefore means extra salary but I’m not sure because I could also take the prerequisites my very last semester of my last year since I won’t have any courses related to my major or minor left to take. if anyone has advice regarding this, please let me know. -very much appreciated, thank you!
