Hi, I’ll likely be coming to ntu dsai this year! I have some qns for seniors who take this major because i’m a bit confused icl…

1. How’s the workload? I have no coding background, so will the learning curve be really steep for me? I personally only think im so-so at math also, which is why im a bit uneasy about this.

2. What are the best courses to take in y1s1? ++ which profs are nicer hahah 🙏

3. Ik a lot of people are saying that ds/cs related jobs are on the decline, but will it be so bad in 3-4 years…I’m ofc willing to learn on the side as well to ensure I’m getting internships + maintaining fch/scu

4. Hall life tips for someone whos not so into sports HHAHA

5. Exchange opp for dsai kids? Ik taisp students have guaranteed exchange to ucb but can normal students who do well also get that chance? Thx!

So recently I’ve gotten all my offers for all my unis and Ive decided to try appealing for smu Law. However, as I did not indicate it as my first choice during my original application , I did not go for any interview or test. Does that mean I have absolutely no chance of getting into law after appealing? Or is there still a chance?

Also in the appeal form there’s a part that allows us to submit a file but what are we supposed to submit?
