Slipping subframe bushings 🤔

(Photo of issue in comments) Replaced the subframe bushings on my e46 touring in November, just normal rubber as I didn’t have the spare cash for poly bushes.

This doesn’t look right to me, in the comparison image you can see that the old bushings sat ‘properly’ with the rubber against the floor.

I recently took it for an MOT and asked the mechanic to have a look, he said it was fine but I wanted to get some more opinions just to be sure. I’m planning to do a floor reinforcement soon, but knowing that that’s often an issue with this chassis I’m a little more concerned than I maybe otherwise would be.

It also looks almost like the bolts have backed out a bit, but when I tried to adjust that nothing budged whatsoever.

Any thoughts/suggestions would be very much appreciated!

Joining in with the wagon posts!

I have two wagons, the e34 is a full restoration project (first photo is from two owners prior) and the 46 is an ongoing project/semi daily that I have just finished the welding on.
