After changing shocks, struts and top mounts my car still feels extremely clunky and rattles a lot.

I plan to change these things, can people recommend anything necessary I’ve missed?

- Meyle HD front control arms
- Engine and Gearbox mounts
- Brake dust shields (rattling and look old)
- ⁠Rear trailing arm bushes:
- Rear subframe bushes
- Front & rear anti-roll bar bushes

Anything i’m missing?

Don’t have a lot money to splash

Today i tried ISTA for the first time and all modules are “not responding”
Also during the scan it asked me if the car was manual or auto

ISTA version is 4.59.30
The car is a 2005 e46 330i

Do i need a specific version of ISTA or install something extra?

Resprayed my E46 from an aging Titan Silver to Techno Violet. Showed it today as the centerpiece for our shop at an Avants event we hosted. Love the finished product!

Hi guys I have trouble finding a BMW original crankshaft position sensor for my e46 320i. Anyone who can help me with that? I live in The Netherlands! So any euro or dutch help would be much appreciated!

Was doing my idle control valve today and noticed my intake hose was all ripped up and dry so i’ve been looking around to find one and i notice a decent amount of reviews of people with 2005 330i’s saying it doesn’t fit.

are they just putting it on wrong? should i bite the bullet and just get it? it says guaranteed fit but apparently not for some people.

This is my project car I’ve had for about a year now, it’s put me through a lot so far with replacing the cooling system, driveshaft Guibo, and a ton of gaskets😂. I’m trying to get the hood paint matched soon and fix some other little body work. Any suggestions on what I should do with it next?

Got the opertunity to buy this manual e46 330ci for 3500$~~ it’s one of verryyy few examples in my country and is estimated to be worth 14000$ if it’s rust free and without problems, its got 220k km on the dash. Obviously i will have to o loadsss of rust repairs, stage 0 the cars, reinforvce the rear subframe probably gonna have to change many body panels and wrap the car to restore it to its former glory. But i just cant decide if its worth it😭

The build so far has come a long way, still needs an M54 with a 5 speed or 6 speed manual transmission, but thats for phase two. Hope you like the result (before picture last)

It is a bit pricy, but that’s the aussie car market for you, it’s a round bout 16,000aud which is 11,000usd but I could get it way down.

Edit: forgot to add that it has 240,000km or about 150k miles but I talked to the guy and he said he did most of the engine work about 1500km ago (1000miles)

Swapping in 996 front and rear and am considering different wheel choices. Anything I should consider?

Headlights and tint all around is happen asap as well 🙃
