T-shirt length check

Hi.

I'm rather short at 165cm, but have wide shoulder for my height. The consequence is that t-shirts always end up being too long, in order to fit.

These pictures are with the shortest t-shirt I own.

I have discovered I can get them shortened, so I'm wondering by how much. What do you think about the pictured lengths?

Please ignore my choice of trousers to go around the house, and my bad posture (die to a medical condition).

Thanks.

Choice between 356 Sa and 25th Anniversary limited

Hi.

I'm looking to get a 356, but I can decide on which one. I'd love to hear your pro and cons between each, maybe some will help me decide.

Pros for for the 356 Sa:

  • Cheaper
  • Incredibly clean design
  • The black dial is more understated

Pros for the 356 25th anniversary:

  • Bicompax arrangement: less clutter.
  • No day/date: less clutter
  • Dual colour dial: striking
  • Limited edition

What else do you think I should consider? Consider both would be used with the same strap or bracelet.

The 356 Sa is more versatile due to being all black, but I think it has too many complications I don't need or use, like the day/date and chrono hour counter.

Thoughts on the classic/anniversary 356 vs the "regular" one?

Hello.

Has anyone had the chance of handling these watches? What were your thoughts on them?

I'm undecided between the classic and the "regular" 356.

[Longines Spirit Zulu Time] Pretty, but too big.

Hi! This is a picture of my 150mm perimeter wrist with a Longines Spirit Zulu Time, from a friend. The Longines is 39mm, and 46.8mm lug-to-lug. The GMT wheel makes it look bigger than what it really is, in my opinion, it's also hefty at 150g, give or take. Still, I link it looks good, just not on my wrist. Would changing it to a strap make it look smaller?

I'm looking to get a Sinn 356 as I absolutely love how they look, and are a fairly small size chrono. I plan to wear it on a leather strap. They are 38.5mm, and 45mm lug-to-lug.

Do you think the Sinn would fit my wrist nicely?

The watch I have that fits me the best in terms of size is a 37mm Seiko SNK809, 42mm lug-to-lug.

Thanks.

Obrigado.

556 or 356 in 36mm?

Hi. I have a small wrist, but love these watches.

My current Seiko SNK809 sits perfectly on my wrist. Is there something similar to Sinn 556 or 356 in such a size?

Thanks!

Rebelious phase at 1 year old?

Hi! My GSD is one year old today! Woho!

And as celebration she shas started to defy my commands (go outside, sit, stop jumping, etc). She has also figure out I cannot force her to do something. If I tell her to go outside and doesn't, I can't (and wont) run a around chassing her.

She used to be very well mannered, and really didn't bite too much, but for the past two weeks it's like she become a teenager, jumping, biting, defying command and revenge biting my heels if I don't do what she wants.

Is this a phase? How should I behave when facing this?

Focal Auditor vs Access

Hello.

The OEM door speaker in my Alfa Romeo GTV (916) have failed (the cones sound to be ripped), and I' looking for replacement options.

The speakers are 5x7in, and the car has a period correct Blaupunkt Stockholm radio installed.

My local shop only has two speaker in this size: Focal Auditor kit ACX-570 and Focal Access kit 570AC.

However, they have failed to tell me the differences between the two.

Are these plug and play options? Should I be aware of anything else before choosing?

Thanks.

Same part number, different stores. Is the right one defective?

Hi. I just noticed my recently acquired filter (on the right) is different from the one I had in stock (in case of emergency). Acquires from different physical, well know stores. Both have the same part number.

Is the one on the right defective? It seems to have some sort of felt.

Rap português

Boa noite a todos. Há uma vida atrás, rolavam os anos 2000, eu ouvia bastante rap português.

Sam the kid, Boss AC, Da Weasel, Mind da Gap, Allen Halloween.

Obrigado.

Are these radios swappable?

Hi. I'd like to replace the BMW Business cassette radio (top) by the BMW Professional CD (bottom).

Regarding the square connector, even though the connector is physically the same, is the pinout the same?

When I connect the new radio, it turns on and accepts CDs but there is no sound through the speakers.

I know I need to get an adapter for the antenna.

The car is a 12/1999 328Ci.

Thanks!

Edit: It's an European car.

Why can't I register at kleinanzeigen.de ?

Hallo!

I'm in a EU country looking to buy something I found on Kleinanzeigen, but I can't seem to be able to register in the website.

I have tried two different e-mails (one of them being Gmail) but seem to never get the login email. I have checked the spam folders and there is nothing there either.

Do I need to use a VPN or something to be able to register, like Japan Yahoo Auctions?

Thank you for your help.

Refurbished brake calipers

Hi. I'm looking to freshen up my brake calipers, as they are have never been rebuilt.

Instead of doing it myself, I was considering getting refurbished calipers from ATE or Bosch.

I know the BMW original map ones are ATE, but. I getting a worse product by getting refurbished non-BMW ATE?

What about Bosch ones? Are they a decent alternative? ATE seem to be hard to come by.

Thanks.

Hot and cold to sit brake piston dust boot seal?

Hello, everyone.

I'm refreshing the brakes in my '00 BMW E46, and I bought a seal kit.
The callipers are squeaky clear, fresh and repainted (all sealing surfaces are clean, no overspray).

However, not matter what method I try, or how many hands I ask assistance of, I cannot get the the piston dust boot seal to sit flush with the calliper.

When it sits on one side, it lifts on the other side.

We have tried with varying amounts of lubricant (red rubber grease), still with no success.

Considering this seems to be a dimensions problem, I was thinking about using the same trick used in some bushing install, by placing the calliper int he freezer, let it stay there for some hours, and the place the rubber seal in nearly boiling water, to increase the tolerance between.

Considering the standard automotive temperature range is -40C to +125C, and these are brake parts (so should handle upwards of 300C), this method shouldn't harm anything, right?

Thanks.
