Does anyone know whats going in Bakersfield? Several fires friday night, fires today, nothing in google or local news about it.

Im rewatching the PT for the umpteenth time and I just realized something as Anakin is leaving to Geonosis. How on earth did Obiwan know about the Lars family and their homestead? How did he know to seek them out to give them Luke? There's no on screen explanation and the only thing we know as fans is "This is supposed to happen." Is there a book explanation? Did Anakin reveal this experience to Obi-Wan offscreen or in the clone wars?
