How does one cook a steak?
I'm clueless in the art of making a nice tender steak and ask humbly for help.
I really wanna try it. Definitely cheaper than getting it at a restaurant. But I kind of don't know how and don't want to mess up what I buy.
I am familiar with making a Schnitzel but I have the feeling it's not the same.
Now I have seen some tutorials but one thing that confuses me most is like what kind of meat? Becuase there's like levels. For example you can buy pretty cheap very thin steaks that are essentially unicolor red with almost no white.
What kind of cut should I be looking for? And how do I get the temp right without a meat thermometer?
