How often to monitor Carbon Dioxide (CO2) levels?

Asking for my friend. In his latest venous blood gas, CO2 was 72. PH is normal.

His next appointment with the doctor is in November. Isn’t that too late? Should he be monitoring CO2 levels more frequently?

Do y’all monitor your respiratory rate?

Asking for a friend. He’s on occasional oxygen and about to get BiPAP for nights

His respiratory rate is 15-20 when sleeping, 20-25 during the day but in the evenings it goes to 30. Is 30 too high?

Need to buy a laptop to study with my extremely low budget 🥲

My budget is very low like 8k. Would it be hard to find with this budget? Honestly, if possible I want to go a bit lower. I know resellers are my only options. I don’t have much knowledge on this, how do I make sure they are working fine and will last long?

I just need to be able to study and use my USB.

USMLE-Rx to get through First Aid during dedicated?

I need something to get through FA. Usmle Rx express videos seem the best suited for that. What do y’all think of USMLE Rx?

Physeo + FA for the next 4 weeks?

My test is in 6.5 weeks. I want to watch something to help me get through FA. Is Physeo and FA a good idea? I’m doing UW on the side as well.

Started UW today and I just can’t get through it, which is why I’ve been putting it off for so long. I wish I could switch to Bootcamp, but I know UWorld is the gold standard. How do I approach this? I feel so restless.

At this point I’m even thinking of going to the gym and trying to review there.

42% baseline on NBME 28… this is bad. I wasted 3 weeks of dedicated, and now I am left with 6 weeks. I haven’t even started UWorld yet.

I can’t do more than 60–80 UWorld questions a day, so I’ll start with that. I also need to rewatch B&B at 2x since I learn best from videos—this might be my best shot at improving my score.

I’m planning to focus on NBMEs 28–33 and ditch 25–27.

Is this doable? Do you all have any recommendations?

I only did the Pathoma tag for Step 1 and skipped the rest since I wanted to keep it short. I want to do the same for Step 2 and aim to keep it around 8,000 cards. Should I only do the Uworld tag or do you recommend something else?
