How tired were you during third trimester?

First pregnancy and just got to 32 weeks and these past three days I’ve been EXHAUSTED! My sleep also hasn’t been great, which isn’t helping. I try to nap during the day, but even that doesn’t seem to help with the exhaustion. I am taking iron supplements because my OB said I was anemic and pretty low in my iron levels. Usually I can get things done throughout the day and have some energy to do thing but these past few days have been ROUGH! The last time I felt this exhausted was during my first trimester. My appetite also hasn’t been the best, so I’ve had to do more grazing and being mindful of what I eat.

What has everyone’s experience during this last stretch been like?

Client No Showed After Relentless Texts

Just as the title reads I had a client who has been excessively texting me since yesterday about realizations and other things. I did not respond to those texts as this was the first time this has happened with this or any client and planned to address it today during session. However, after waiting just over 15 minutes client didn't show up, which seems weird considering they seemed on edge and confirming yesterday they would attend session. I sent them a text to communicate they missed their appointment and have them scheduled for next week. I'm not really sure what else to do in this scenario as I don't want to communicate anything further through text. I was planning to send an email about guidelines and boundaries around texting, but unsure if this is a good idea.

Help Finding A System for FTM

I'm currently 31 weeks pregnant and have decided I want to go with cloth diapers vs disposable. I used to work in preschools for years and loved the cloth diaper concept and seems so much more budget friendly and natural. The set ups I am used to because of that environment are covers with pre-folds. I've been looking at different brands and set ups and I don't like the concept of the all in one systems or the pocket diapers because it seems that you have to get rid of the entire diaper once it gets used. With the pre-folds and covers you can reuse as long as the cover is not wet. My current hiccup is deciding on a brand! It's all so overwhelming and I was set on the Esembly covers with pre-folds from Green Mountain, but not sure if I should be looking at other options.

I also wondered what most of you do with the wet diapers in between washes. I've seen laundry bags or some suggest using buckets. When I worked in preschools we had a bucket where we'd toss them throughout the day and added vinegar to help before washing. Any suggestions on how to make cleaning most efficient would help as well!

Any advice will help! I know Esembly can be pricey so if there are some alternatives to look into please let me know.

Thank you!

Family just now asking about baby registry after I deleted it

This is my first pregnancy and my family all live thousands of miles away so I knew I wouldn’t be doing a baby shower nor did I expect family to send things. However, I created a baby registry because friends were asking if we had one, etc. so I created one pretty early on around 15 weeks. A few friends and one of my family memebers bought us a few things which I was grateful for. Again, I never expected people to buy us things because we don’t have a lot of friends and I never expect family to contribute to things.

I’m now 31 weeks and I’m being induced early due to being high risk and I’m now having family ask why I deleted my registry because they were going to buy things. I did communicate that I’ll be induced in a few weeks and we wanted to have things ready. I’m a FTM and getting things ahead of time has helped with some of my anxiety and I’ve been nesting hard. Now I feel bad because family is acting like I should’ve waited until after the baby arrived to see what I needed and kept the registry up. I just don’t see their side and now feel bad because they’re wanting to help purchase things but me and my husband have literally purchased everything we feel baby will need.

Anyone experience something similar of have any advice? TIA

Infant Daycare Recommendations

I know there have been posts in the past about finding daycare, but wanted more up to date recommendations. We are expecting in August and will need daycare in late January. We've toured Salem Montessori and I absolutely loved it, but unfortunately it's a little out of our price range at the moment. We also toured Roanoke Valley Children's Academy and it honestly looked sad. I've worked in preschools/montessori schools and I was just not impressed with the infant classroom. We have a mixed faith household catholic/nazarene so we aren't against a religious school if it's good quality. Any recommendations are welcome, thank you!
