150mm shocks experience on e scooters with 8-10mm eyelet
i want to know people who experienced with moving from usualy 125mm shocks to 150mm shocks and if the difference really was noticeable for them and is it really worth it. Ill share mine : I have an Iscooter i10pro and the first thing i changed was the horrendous stiff suspension it had. but i also noticed there isnt a big gap the wheel both front and rear will touch the top of the scooter so i first took cheapass 150mm suspension, the softest ones i could find and put it first on the rear. it was too soft on the rear and due to how my shocks are mounted the resistance was higher than the stiffness fucking up everything. so i put them on the front knowing on the front they will be the perfect stiffness and i was right. for the rear i bought higher quality shocks, i bought 2x ks260 350lbs (this e scooter uses 2 shocks per wheel/swing arm) and they were a perfect fit for my rear suspension. the geometry of my e scooter make it that 150mm isnt that high so i practically had no choice if i wanted comfort. but i tested on a friend's kukirin g2(with soft spring) and the e scooter was quite high and super super smooth like you feel nothing on the road. now do yall have e scooters with 150mm shocks ?
